Cindy Z is a jazz vocalist, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist living in California. Currently, she performs solo on acoustic guitar and voice in San Francisco and around the Bay Area. Her eclectic sound encompasses Jazz Standards, Bossa Nova, Contemporary R&B, and jazzy spin-off covers of pop songs.
Cindy developed her love for jazz after studying theory and performing with Grammy-winning producer Kamau Kenyatta at UCSD. In the past, she has written original music for her group Mino in their EP: "Fishfood”, arranged music for her a cappella group at UCSD, and studied classical violin.
